Lynda "Nan" - President/Owner

Lynda was born and raised in Salt Lake City , Utah, where she began her teaching career. She has always had a passion for teaching young children, and has worked with children her whole life. From a 4th/5th grade title one teacher, to her own children, to her grandchildren, she has developed a great love for children. When working with them, she loves to watch them grow, from their first step to the first sentence they learn to read, she has a special talent working with them. She also has enjoyed spending a lot of time volunteering for her church, working with boy scout's, young women's, and activity days. She discovered how wonderful the Montessori method is when she saw her grandson achieve academic excellence while enrolled at a Montessori school. She believes Montessori is a excellent way of teaching young minds because of the hands-on, real life experiences children receive through Montessori. 

In her spare time she likes to read, play scrabble, and spend time at her cabin. She is thrilled to be apart of Blooming Minds Montessori and can't wait to see young minds blossom. Lynda and her grandmother founded the school in October of 2013.

Ms. Maegan - Program Director

Maegan was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Cyprus High School, where she was on the Drill Team, and Dance Company. She graduated from Montessori Teacher Education Center in San Francisco with her American Montessori Society Associates credential with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education in June 2013.

Maegan has always loved working with children, and believes she has a special bond with them. She loves to watch children grow, and see how they develop. She believes that the Montessori way of educating children is one of the best programs there is. Maegan thinks that children need to develop independence, and be able to explore their worlds hands-on. 


Maegan has worked with preschool aged children for almost 9 years, and has loved every minute of it. In her space time she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, listening to music, and doing anything outdoors. Her dream has always been to open her own preschool, and Blooming Minds Montessori has made her dream a reality. Maegan and her grandmother founded BMM in October 2013.

Ms. Jessie - Co-Director

 Jessie was born and raised in Magna, Utah. She graduated from Cyprus High School, where she was on the Drill Team. She then attended College of Eastern Utah where she was a cheerleader and excellent student. She transferred to Southern Utah University where she again was a cheerleader and excelled in her classes. 

Jessie found her love for teaching children while working at Dancing Moose Montessori for 2 years. She was an assistant  teacher in a toddler classroom and fell in love with being a Montessori Teacher. She was then trained by Maegan for 6 months, this taught her the ins and outs of the Montessori Method and that fostering children's independence at a young age is crucial. 

Jessie has a great talent of working with children. She has vision of giving back to the community by teaching young children. Jessie and her husband have one daughter (Kate), 2 horses, and three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys anything outdoors like fishing, camping, biking, and playing with her daughter and nephew. Blooming Minds is very excited to have her on our team. She joined us when the school opened in October 2013.

Ms. Camille - Office Manager

Ms. Cami was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated with a Generals AS Degree from Dixie State University. Camille has explored many careers in her life- she was a Cosmetologist for 22 years, she worked in the ER at the University of Utah, and previous to Blooming Minds she worked as a substitute teacher at Dancing Moose Montessori School.

Her experience as a substitute really opened her eyes to how much she loves working with children. She grasped onto the Montessori concept quickly, she especially fell in love with the Independence concept in the Montessori philosophy.

She is fun, energetic, and isn’t scared to get right down to the child’s level and play with them. She has a great passion for animals and has 3 “fur babies” (Sunny, Gracie, and Toby) and 2 parrots (Lily & Kyle). In her spare time, she loves to travel, shop, go on bike rides, and be with family and friends. She started at BMM as a substitute in January of 2015, worked as a co-teacher for a year and a half, and began as BMM's office manager this year.

Ms. Yiselle - Receptionost

Yiselle was born in Bountiful, Utah and moved to Mooresville, North Carolina at a young age. She started babysitting her 2 younger brothers when she was around 10 years old. This began her love for caring after children. She also became involved with music and band, which consumed her life in high school. She was the senior drum major in marching band her senior year.

Yiselle served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from May 2013-November 2014. She served in the Colorado Fort Collins mission, Spanish speaking. She is married to an awesome husband and they have a puppy named Norah. She loves reading, studying academic journals on family functions (not joking!), painting, going to the movies, and attending concerts.

Working with children is a passion of Yiselle's. She loves helping children explore the world around them. She encourages creativity and independence in learning. Her favorite part of working with kids is seeing their development over time.

Yiselle has had multiple child care jobs, including being a nanny, a summer camp counselor, an after school counselor, and pre-school teacher; all of which adds up to about 8 years working with children. She is a senior at Southern Virginia University, completing her degree through Utah Valley. In the spring of 2018, she will have her bachelors in Family and Child Development. She joined BMM in May of 2017.

Ms. Morgan - Aftercare Director & Wildflower’s Lead Teacher

Ms. Morgan is 20 years old and was born and raised in American Fork, Utah. She graduated from Lehi High school in 2014. She’s currently a student at Salt Lake Community College, where she’s working on her generals with the hope of getting into their occupational therapy program.

Morgan just recently got engaged and is planning on getting married next spring. Her fiancé and Morgan just bought our first home together, in American Fork and are so excited to begin their life together. She absolutely loves spending time outside and especially loves hiking and camping.

Morgan began working at BMM in August of 2016 and absolutely fell in love with the school. She is very passionate about learning and quickly found a passion for helping kids learn. She thinks it is so fun watching little ones grow and she is so happy to be a part of children’s lives! Morgan is a very happy, spunky, and dedicated teacher and BMM is so lucky to have her.

Ms. Abby C. - Wildflowers Co-Teacher

Abigail is 18 years old and was born in Boise, Idaho. She has 5 siblings, 3 older sisters and a younger brother and sister. She has always had a love for children especially because of her siblings and cousins. She graduated from Herriman High School in 2018.

She plans to attend college next year at Utah State to become an elementary school teacher. She took many classes to help her with experience to teach young children such as, child development, early childhood development, and also taught in Herriman high’s Mini Mustangs Preschool program. She has always loved spending time with children and that’s why becoming a teacher is her dream job. 

In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She started at BMM in July of 2018.

Ms. Megan - Sunflower's Lead Teacher

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Megan fostered a love for the outdoors and the peaceful environment found there. She also enjoys traveling and discovering new places. Megan likes to read and has also found a new hobby in cooking.

She loves spending time with her family and feels that sharing the things they enjoy is key to maintaining their family bonds.

Megan is a bright and upbeat personality who seeks out happiness and new ways to grow. Megan found her passion for working with young children in high school when she worked in the preschool program. The opportunity to strengthen and grow that love for teaching came while in college, when she met her now husband and started a family of her own. Working in customer service positions and enjoying the early childhood of her own three children she decided to put her experience to work and began teaching preschool.

Megan was quick to share the love for life and the world around them that all children have. Almost 8 years of teaching experience in various schools and positions has provided Megan with patience and a sincere love for teaching.  Megan comes to Blooming Minds Montessori highly recommended by students, parents and previous colleagues.

She believes Blooming Minds Montessori School offers the opportunity to teach in a loving environment where the child's desire and natural ability to discover and grow is encouraged and built upon. She is excited to be working within the Montessori teaching method and is looking forward to sharing her skills and becoming a strong team member within the school. This summer Megan attended the Institute for Montessori Innovation at Westminster College where she did an intensive course on Montessori Early Childhood education. She graduated with her Associates credential in Montessori in June of 2018. She joined the BMM team in March 2015.

Ms. Tabbi - Sunflower's Co-Teacher

Tabbi is a 26 year old mother and fiancé to her high school sweetheart of ten years. She was born in Nevada but grew up in Magna, UT. Tabbi graduated from Cyprus High School where she was on the softball team and a varsity cheerleader.

After high school she became a dental assistant through the Dental Assisting School of Utah and found a love for all things dental. During her time as a dental assistant she and her fiancé decided to expand their family and welcomed their first child (a daughter- Olivia) in August 2015.

She then became a stay at home mother taking care of her daughter and her infant niece and discovered a passion for teaching little ones after seeing just how much children grow and bloom in their early years. She loves being a part of the Blooming Minds family, and especially loves the opportunity to help young minds grow and develop. She joined BMM in November of 2016.

Ms. Maria - Daisies Lead Teacher

Maria Baldarrago was raised in Orem, Utah and moved to Herriman in 2003 following a 3-month summer vacation to her native country, Peru. She graduated from Timpanogos High School with a 4.0 GPA and college credits, at which she also discovered her love for working with children during her senior year interning at a pediatrician’s office.

She has explored a number of career choices that provided her with the opportunity to work with children but after becoming a mother of two, it became clear to her that she wanted to help young children learn, grow, and develop in an educational setting. She received her Associate of Science degree in Family and Human Studies from Salt Lake Community College. There, she spent three semesters teaching preschool children as a lab student at the Eccles Early Childhood Development Lab School. When she graduated from SLCC, she moved onto the University of Utah where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. She then earned her Infant and Toddler Montessori credential from Westminster College in June of 2018.

She is a positive, fun, loving and energetic person and is excited for the opportunity to teach at Blooming Minds Montessori School. She believes a Montessori education provides a powerful way to learn and thrive using beautiful materials and a prepared environment that fosters independence and interest in all areas of curriculum.

She knows that this school will not only prepare children for school, but also for life. Besides parenting and teaching, she enjoys going on family dates, listening to classical music, crafting and scrapbooking, eating avocados and mangos, and going on nature walks. Maria joined the BMM team in April 2015.

Ms. Yoko - Daisies Co-Teacher

Miss Yoko is excited to be a part of the team at Blooming Minds Montessori!

She has a background in psychology, having graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2008. She has spent the last ten years working with many different groups of people of varying ages, intellects, and circumstances. She loves people and especially little children and truly enjoys nurturing their growth and education in life.

She currently enjoys spending time with the people that are special to her. She loves to dance, cook, and spend time in nature. She is enthusiastic about health and wellness, and she is enjoying building her business in alternative therapy as a BodyTalk practitioner. 

Her love of learning and helping others grow makes her happy to be learning with your children! She joined BMM in November of 2017.

Ms. Whitney - Dandelion's Lead Teacher

Ms. Whitney is 22 years old and has been married for 3 years. She graduated from Cosmetology School in 2012 and starting working at Cosmo Prof Beauty supply. After about 3 years of working there and doing hair on the side; she decided that being a cosmetologist wasn’t her passion and started on a new path. She knew that she loves being around people and even more so, loves taking care of children.

She gained professional experience with children by becoming a nanny for a family friend and absolutely fell in love with it. She ended up leaving her job as a nanny when she welcomed her own daughter, Sophia! She now has a family of 4, as she welcomed her 2nd daughter Kaia in February of 2018. Sophia & Kaia are the light of her life and takes up all of her free time.

Whitney is very outgoing and independent and a great asset to Blooming Minds. She is committed to continuing her knowledge on caring for and teaching her students. She worked with our Daisies class as a co-teacher for a year and was promoted to lead teacher the summer of 2018. 

She especially loves the rewarding feeling she gets from this job, and continually says that this is the best job she’s ever had. Whitney joined our BMM family in February 2017.

Ms. Hanah - Dandelions Co-Teacher

Ms. Hanah was born and raised in South Florida where she played rugby and loved going to the beach. She moved to Utah to be with her husband of 2 years. They have a child in BMM’s Daises Program and she has been working with Blooming Minds since Feb. 2018.

Her experience with kids includes working at summer camps, after school programs and private tutoring. It was through these experiences, in addition to having a child of her own, that she developed a passion for aiding children in their development. But before Blooming Minds she was an Arab linguist in the U.S. Army which instilled in her many skills including sacrifice and discipline.

In her free time she enjoys doing any type of outdoor activity but has a special love for horseback riding. She also enjoys reading, going to the movies, eating Japanese food and traveling.

Hanah is excited to teach here at Blooming Minds Montessori School and for the opportunity to learn from the friends as they learn and grow with her. She knows the importance of caring for and raising the next generation in a loving and caring environment filled with opportunity for learning and development. She looks forward to developing lasting relationships with all those who also believe in the Montessori mission and hopes to bring energy an enthusiasm to each class.

Ms. Emilee - Daffodils Lead Teacher

Ms. Emilee was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas and lived there until she was 8 years old and then her family moved to Denver, Colorado. She now lives in Orem, Utah and has for the last year. She is attending UVU in hopes to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in interior design. She enjoys going to Lake Powell and traveling whenever she gets the opportunity. She loves spending time with her family, her mom is the sister she never had, and her dad has always been her best friend. Emilee also loves to spend time with her 2 dogs and just got married in September 2018. 

Emilee grew up with just 1 brother wishing she had more siblings. At the age of 10 she was the neighborhoods “babysitter” for when all the parents got together. She has always had such a love for kids and always knew she wanted to be a teacher. Emilee has been a nanny for the last five years and loves working with children. She loves to watch kids grow and learn and thought this would be the perfect place for her to work. She joined BMM in June 2018.

Ms. Heather - Daffodils Co-Teacher

Heather was born, and raised in Ontario, California. She attended Redlands High School, and graduated in class of 2007. In 2009 she moved to West Jordan, Utah to be closer to family.  Heather graduated from Salt Lake Community College with a degree in Paralegal studies in 2015. Heather has always loved working with children at an early age since her mom teaches for a living. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew, and there fur baby Zeus.  Heather enjoys shopping at Target, traveling any chance she gets, as well as baking.

Ms. Mollie - Aftercare Receptionist

Mollie was born and raised in South Jordan, Utah. She is 17 years old and a senior at Bingham High School. She has four older siblings who are all married and have kids. She has watched and taken care of her nieces and nephews her whole life, and started nannying at a young age. She has always had a special place in her heart for children. Mollie grew up as a dancer and cheerleader, but enjoys playing the piano, guitar, ukulele, and singing as well. She is very art-oriented and loves to create. 

Mollie is currently planning on attending BYU-Hawaii to earn her associates degree and then transferring to either BYU Provo or Utah State for her bachelors. She is wanting to go into residential architecture or the medical field. She has always loved helping others in any way she can and wants to do that in her career. Mollie joined BMM in June of 2018 and is so excited to grow closer with the students and help them grow.

Ms. Jess - Floater & Aftercare Teacher

Ms. Jess was born and raised in Queen Creek, Arizona but now lives in Riverton, Utah. She's a senior at Riverton High School, and is apart of the drama club. She enjoys singing and doing school musicals. She has four siblings, and loves spending time with her family. Jessica also loves to spend time outdoors with her animals- she has 3 horses and 3 dogs. Jessica has nannied for the last four years and loves working with children. After high school, she plans on attending college and majoring in child physiology. She was so excited when she was offered the job at BMM and loves being a part of kiddo's lives. She joined BMM in April 2017.

Ms. Maddie - Floater & Aftercare Teacher

Maddie is a senior and attends Riverton High School. She is the baby in her family and has an older sister and two older brothers. Maddie has always loved playing with kids and is a favorite babysitter in her neighborhood! She comes from a very musical family and they enjoy singing and creating music together. Maddie plays piano, loves art and enjoys musical theater. She has been in many plays. Her favorite love however, is dogs! She loves dogs and has a Morkie named Benji at home whom she adores. Maddie is so excited to be a part of the Blooming Minds Montessori Team! She joined us in October of 2017.

Ms. Julia - Floater & Aftercare Teacher

Ms. Julia is 17 years old, and a senior at Copper Hills High School. She was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah and is the youngest in her family of 4 siblings. 

Ever since she was little, she was always trying to help her mom and older sisters babysit kids. She learned to developed a love for children quickly helping them! As she grew older she started to babysit on her own for families in her neighborhood. Julia also often babysits her nephews.

In her free time, she enjoys playing sports with friends, drawing, going camping, fishing, and being up in the mountains! She started at BMM in February 2018.

Ms. Kelsey - Aftercare Teacher

Kelsey was born in West Jordan, Utah and grew up in West and South Jordan. She is currently a senior at Bingham High school and will graduate in the spring of 2019. She loves going to high school football and lacrosse games, playing the violin, boating, hiking, playing with children and practicing Sign Language. She is looking to major in either American Sign Language Interpretation or in Early Childhood Development at Dixie College. 

Kelsey has worked tending children as a babysitter and as a nanny since 2009 and has loved every minute of it. She has worked with all ages from infants to toddlers to older children. She currently is a Nanny to a 4 year old girl and a 3 year old boy and is the after care teacher in the Daffodils class. Kelsey joined the BMM team in August 2018.

Ms. Brittney - Aftercare Teacher

Ms. Brittney is 17 years old and was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah. She resides there to this day, and will be attending Copper Hills High School as a senior this upcoming school year. During that year she will be involved in a Certified  Nurse Assisting program, and will graduate as a CNA. Her long term goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse. Brittney has two older siblings, one younger brother, and a brother in-law. She loves to spend time with her family. When she isn’t with her family she loves to read, or spend time with her best friend. She also enjoys being outside, especially hiking. Brittney has always loved babysitting, and was very excited at the opportunity to work at a preschool. She loves getting to know the kids, and their personality’s. Seeing them grow is also a highlight of her job. She is very excited to be here and joined the team in March 2018.

Ms. Meg - Aftercare Teacher

Meg was born and raised in West Jordan Utah and and is currently a junior at Copper Hills High School. She loves school and is enrolled at SLCC and Snow college for concurrent enrollment classes. 
She has a huge put together family of 9 step siblings and 3 biological siblings. Her brother is autistic, which inspired her mom to become a music therapist. So her whole childhood, she attended clinics with her mom and helped with children with Autism and Asperger’s. 
Meg’s hobbies include dancing, photography, violin, and guitar. She’s been dancing and playing musical instruments from a very young age and now has fun teaching dance and guitar. 
She love playing with kids and is very close to her 3 little cousins- 2 year old twins and a 9 year old. This is where her passion for caring for kids came from- kids are so fun to play with and she loves watching them grow up! Meg hopes to grow up and become a pediatrician because she would really like to help kids and make a difference in their lives. She joined the team in September of 2018.

Ms. Abby V. - Aftercare Teacher

Ms. Abby was born in Bountiful Utah and now lives in South Jordan. She is currently a senior at Bingham High School and loves learning new things. Abby has two younger brothers and one older brother and loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys painting, being in the mountains, traveling, and spending time with her friends. One of Abby’s favorite things to do is spend time with kids. She’s dedicated a lot of her time to both volunteer work with disabled kids, and babysitting and loves every second of it. She is so excited to work with all of the kids at Blooming Minds and can’t wait to watch them learn and grow! She joined us in August 2018.

Ms. Sammie - Aftercare Teacher

Samantha (Sammie for short) is 16 years old and was born in Baldwin Park, California. She lived in different parts of California for most of her childhood and moved to Utah to spend more time with my mom’s family and help out. She have always loved taking care of kids because she grew up helping raise her four younger siblings (1 sister and 3 brothers). She is currently a junior in high school and has hopes to become a surgeon. After high school, she plans on studying at UCLA and start working towards her medical degree. In her free time, she loves to hang out wit friends and going on awesome adventures! Sammie loves working and being involved with all the cute little kiddos at BMM!! She joined BMM in September 2018.

Ms. Taylor - Substitute

Ms. Taylor was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah.  She graduated from Riverton High School and plans to attend SLCC next semester and eventually attend the U of U. Some of her interests include traveling, Disneyland and all things Disney, the occasional rock concert and being with my family and friends. She really enjoys using sign language. She took two years of it in High School and plan to continue with courses in college! She loves teaching the kids useful signs along with all sorts of other things!!! Taylor has always enjoyed working with children and loves watching them grow and learn. She feels like kids also help her grow as well! She joined us in September 2018.
