"The education of a very small child does not aim at preparing him for school but for life."
-Dr. Maria Montessori
Jeff Bezos (founder of amazon.com) and Larry Page & Sergey Brin (cofounders of google.com) attended a Montessori school. They credited their years as Montessori students as a major factor behind their success.
Blooming Minds Montessori approaches education from the premise that children thrive when they become the lead participant in their acquisition of knowledge. When children are allowed to explore they become interested.
Dr. Montessori observed that as museums and cathedrals are designed for contemplation and inspiration, so should schools be designed as temples of learning. Every classroom features classical art, music, plants, animals, and beautiful materials.
Why Blooming Minds?
At Blooming Minds, your child is never “just another number” he or she is an important member of our school community. Our priority is to focus on the child as a whole versus focusing on the class as a group. We respect and encourage every aspect of each individual child by working on their growth in cognitive and physical development, feelings, emotions, and relationships in and outside of school. With your child's growth being our number one priority, we have chosen to practice the Montessori Method.
We teach our students values that are fundamental to Montessori education, including: the pursuit of independence and self-mastery, respect for oneself and others, empathy, kindness, a love of work and a passion for life-long learning. Our staff forms relationships with each family to make sure you feel comfortable leaving your child with us.
Once enrolled, parents receive their child's teacher's phone number and email; so parents can affectively communicate with the teacher's throughout the day (teacher's even send you pictures of your child on occasion). Blooming Minds Montessori was established to provide an education with all the ideals of individualized learning at the most critical period of a child's life- early childhood.
Blooming minds offers specially designed programs for all different ages from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Dr. Montessori observed that as museums and cathedrals are designed for contemplation and inspiration, so should schools be designed as temples of learning. Every classroom features classical art, music, plants, animals, and beautiful materials.
The entire Montessori learning environment is designed to be supportive of the child. Teachers, classrooms and equipment are carefully selected and prepared to provide a learning environment that is fully equipped and beautifully presented.
The Montessori classroom contains a wide variety of multi-sensory, sequential and self-correcting materials which facilitate the learning of skills and lead to an understanding of abstract concepts. Materials are arranged in graduating order so children can see their progress as they master each task. We have
